Article de Hmida Ben Romdhane censuré par le directeur de La Presse: Israël est un Etat raciste Dear (s) friend (s)
Again the director of the Press arose in the Guardian newspaper readers to decide what they need and what they should not read. Yet once, the director of the Press used its "sovereign power" as he said, to censor an article on Durban II Conference on Racism which began its work Monday in Geneva. The censored article, entitled "Israel is a racist state," analyzes the policy of this country and exposes too unbalanced positions by a West that, when it comes to the Middle East begins quickly from the side of the aggressors, brandishing his instrument rusty two weights and two measures.
I have no idea about the motivations that led the Director to censor the article, since it did not even call me to tell me what he criticizes the analysis. I discovered this morning by opening censor the newspaper. This gives an idea of the respect shown by the Director of Press to its employees and confirms the idea that he seriously believes in its "sovereign power".
You can find the article in question attached. The article is also on my blog www.lastas.blogspot.com
I count on you to snowball.
Happy reading.
Hmida Ben Romdhane
Israel is a racist state
By Ben Romdhane Hmida
We remember Durban I, the first Conference on Racism and Discrimination, held in South Africa just days before the attacks of September 11, 2001. The United States and Israel had then slammed the door before the end of the work on the pretext that participants were "anti-Israeli", established an "equivalence between Zionism and racism" and force the Americans wanted to "apologize" for their slavery past.
Both countries have re-offended by deciding to boycott Durban II, which opened yesterday in Geneva. They are not alone. Canada, Australia, Italy and the Netherlands have also decided not to attend. A decision all the more surprising that the text of the final declaration was revised in line with Western demands, that is to say, by deleting any reference to Israel and the Arab-Israeli conflict. The final communiqué of Durban II that no longer speak of "the plight of Palestinians" which, to "balance" is stuck "Israel's right to security".
Other EU countries have decided to participate, but threatened to withdraw if the Iranian president criticizes Israel. It should be noted here that these same countries are firmly opposed to any ban criticism of Islam under the pretext that it "would limit freedom of expression." But now they give us proof that Israel is more sacred than the sacred.
Israel and its friends do not confine themselves to boycott the conference in Durban I, which is currently underway in Geneva, they have mobilized their demagogues and propagandists of service in an attempt to discredit the forum and all that follows. The outburst against Durban II has reached incredible proportions. Some have even suggested the idea that the choice of the date of 20 April, which happens to be the birthdate of Adolf Hitler, has been intentionally done to celebrate along with the birthday of Nazi dictator ...
Alan Caruba Some, for example, wrote about a Canadian site (www.canadafreepress.com) that "when the conference met April 20, the birthday of Hitler in 1889, his spirit will dominate the work of Durban II. The good news is that U.S. diplomats will not attend. Hope that other countries who suffered genocidal hatred of Hitler will not be attending either. After this operation dishonest mere chance of timing, the propagandist of Zionism poured into delirium: "Durban II", he said, "is another example of Islamic Jihad and its centuries of warfare against other religions. Those who deny its existence will continue to suffer from its consequences. "
In Israel, Yitzhak Herzog, Minister of Social Affairs, and loaded at the same time" the fight against anti-Semitism in the world, "describes Durban II" cynically manipulated by the show axis Iran-Libya-Pakistan. " Yet this minister can not ignore that Durban II does nothing but keep track of Durban I, that is to say to see the degree of implementation of recommendations of the 2001 conference on racism, recommendations which were adopted by 189 countries, as told by the entire planet with two exceptions, Israel and the United States.
There is every reason to fear that Israel many politicians, apparently destabilized by Durban I and II, have totally lost control of themselves. Their arrogance peaked as they feel entitled to dictate to the President of the country hosting the conference meet and who do not meet.
President of the Swiss Federation has scheduled a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Even before that meeting takes place, shooting a bitter attack from Israel targeted the Swiss president guilty of having met him in a foreign counterpart, Ahmadinejad, who is not in the odor of sanctity in Israel. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel has denounced "an unfortunate encounter a bizarre decision which can only undermine Switzerland.
The thing is heard. Israel has the right to criticize the President of Switzerland for a simple meeting with a foreign counterpart. But the world has no right to criticize Israel for its heinous crimes he has been committing for 60 years against the Arabs. That's where we are today in this bizarre world. The mistake of the organizers
Durban II is that they have retreated and have complied with all requirements of the defenders of Israel in serving text of their most terrifying truths: Israel is a racist state that has committed countless war crimes against Palestinians and Lebanese.
Israel is a racist state because it continues to this day to require its recognition of the Palestinians as a "Jewish state". Israel is a racist state because it discriminates by law within its borders against the Palestinians in 1948, and discrimination through violence against Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza (1).
is here that we can not side with the African American congressmen and share their frustration about the president's decision to boycott Durban II Obama. One did not hide his bitterness over the fact that "the first black American president boycotted a conference on racism."
Anyone who wants to work towards the establishment of peace and justice in the world, anyone who wants stability in the Middle East and safeguarding the interests of all countries, must call a spade a spade. That is to say designate Israel as a racist and undemocratic as it claims to be, to help get rid of fanatics who follow the path of reason which is that its interests long term. Otherwise, as suggested by a CIA report, he is likely not to celebrate his hundredth birthday. In the Middle Ages, there was a Christian state established in Acre (Akka Akko in Arabic and Hebrew) that has lasted 99 years, that is to say from 1191 to 1290, and n therefore had not celebrated its centenary ...
